Many of us know the feeling- whether you've finished the main storyline and are holding out on collecting the experience from side quests when the level cap increases again, or you went all out and did every quest out there. Waiting for new content is tough, but it can be easier! Here's a list of things to get you inspired.
Yep! You heard me- a brand spankin' new $39 bundle! We haven't gotten one since the Cutthroat Bundle about a year ago.
This one is called the Empire Bundle, and it's Aquila-themed. Yay, Eagles! You can get this legendary bundle from any GameStop location in the USA. Now I know those of you who are also Wizards will nervously remember the Olympian Bundle that was released a while ago on Wizard101. Fret not, for I was nervous about this, too: I was worried that we would just be getting some hand-me-down or cheap knockoff stuff from Wizard101. Luckily, this is far from true. While this bundle doesn't include a mount, pet or weapon, you should still be quite satisfied with what you get... The Armada: it's the enemy of every pirate and scoundrel in the Spiral. So far, all we know is that they seem to be of Valencian origin, and are bent on stopping us Pirates at any cost.
What makes these characters so haunting and unforgettable? Aside from their grim purpose, they wear masks that only feign emotion. The idea of emotionlessness has haunted humanity since the earliest of humankind's days when we were first able to comprehend the feelings of ourselves and others. When this emotionlessness is hidden by a mask, it only seems that much scarier and mysterious- and that's exactly what the Armada is aiming for. It's Shark Week here in the Spiral! Beatriz got her free 7-day Hammerhead Shark mount, and you can, too, by going to the redeem code page on the official P101 site and typing in the word: teeth But that's not all... As you may have noticed, Pirate101 has some awesome Shark Week Facts on their page. Here are five more!
After a full school year of running around like a crazy person doing homework, taking midterms and writing papers, it can be nice to relax- unless you're me!
Each summer when I'm not in school, I like to do a big sewing project. Last year I made a few plushies for my friends' birthdays. The year before that, I made a steampunk dress. This year, however, I decided to do something even more ambitious: design Beatriz Abbott's duster- a common but striking outfit purchased from many vendors in Cool Ranch. What an adventurous night! Hours of farming, tons of cool new features, and I made a lot of new friends. I decided to do what I had never done before: stay up late for a Pirate101 update.
That evening, huge groups of fellow pirates flocked to Friar Sand in MooShu, one of the best bosses for boosting gold count. Beatriz met a lot of awesome people from Pirate101 Central and around the game. Everyone was super nice, and we farmed right up to the maximum amount of gold allowed. We even beat Friar Sand while he was still on water (thanks to a minor glitch). Guess he's not so invincible, after all. ;) |
